The Victoria Children's Museum has been invited to host an activity booth at the Victoria Symphony Splash! Join in the fun at music-making activity stations where kids can experiment with a range of activities, from the sound properties of various items to their unique vibrations through water. Victoria Symphony Splash takes place on August 1st, 2010. From a floating stage in Victoria’s picturesque Inner Harbour the Victoria Symphony, The Naden Band of Maritime Forces Pacific and the 2010 Splash Young Soloists’ Grace Ma and Phillip Manning perform to an enthusiastic crowd. The day begins at 1pm with activities and live music for families in the Splash Family Zone and ends with Victoria Symphony’s performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture at 10pm accompanied by fireworks and cannons.
